The show totally glossed over the trauma suffered by Jack during his year spent in Hell. There's no way anyone could handle that amount of torture without being seriously messed up, and they treated it as if once that horrific year was over, Superhuman Jack was all better, with no residual aftereffects. It was unbelievable in the extreme.
