This was a fantastic story. Not just one, but two, unusual problems to be solved. I loved how they were quite similar in one respect and so completely different in their outcomes. I surprised myself in actually preferring the epic ending of doom over the happy one, I felt it fitted the natural progression of the story much better. Either way, thank you for a wonderful read, I'm so glad it got away from you (both) and ended up being so long because that gave us so much more to enjoy.
